Digital Interactive Christmas Tree

Brief: Let's decorate the Christmas tree in a novel way — digital and interactive — bringing everyone together into a single image.

The installation consists of a stage prop shaped like a stylized Christmas tree, fitted with 1,600 LED lights (the number of employees present at the party). Each participant installs a mini-app via a QR code, which they can use to join their colleagues in the process of decorating the tree. The tree has several decoration zones, divided by color. Each color corresponds to a mood you might be feeling in that moment: you could be happy, ready to dance, or simply feeling very creative.

You pick your light and click. One of the lights will turn on. This way, you can sense the mood of everyone present: cheerful and ready to have fun, or eager to dance. The installation was built for VODAFONE's Christmas party.
